Two Card Monte

Effect: A spectator is shown two cards. One of them is placed
behind the Magicians back, but the spectator can never guess
which one !
Your packet consists of a double-back card and a double-face
card. For this tutorial, we will have an Eight of Clubs and the
Three of Diamonds.
Hold the cards in your right hand (assuming you are right handed).
Say: "I have 2 cards, the Eight of Clubs and the Three of Diamonds."
You want to hold the cards, spread out slightly, so the face and back can be seen.
Rotate your hand to display the second side of
your double face card. To improve the illusion, you should slide the
cards while rotating them.
Say: "I will now take the Eight of Clubs. Which card is in my hand?"
Take the double face card behind your back and secretly
turn it around. When they answer, display the card
(the Three of
Diamonds) behind your back.
If you wish, you can repeat with the other side of the card.
